Terms of Service

Welcome to PetMood. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and PetMood ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) and able to form a binding contract. By using PetMood you confirm you meet these requirements.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos, notes, pet profiles, and other content you post ("Your Content"). By posting, you grant PetMood a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and promote the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or violent content.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service.
- Use the Service to spam, phish, or distribute malware.
- Post content about animals that depicts cruelty or neglect.
5. Moderation & termination
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community. You may delete your account at any time.
6. Third-party services
The Service uses third-party providers (e.g. Mapbox for maps). Your use of those features is also subject to their terms.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetMood and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service shall not exceed EUR 50.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold PetMood harmless from claims arising out of Your Content or your violation of these Terms.
10. Changes to the Service & Terms
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use means acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by mandatory consumer protection law; otherwise by the laws of the European Union member state where PetMood is established. Disputes shall be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
